Tazzie in life was a rescued pure bred rottie who came from a puppy mill in Arizona, was shipped to a pet shop in Santa Monica, Southern California, and sold to a couple where she lived for a few weeks before she ran into the street and was hit by a truck and broke her femur. That landed her in a cage on death row to be disposed of until we found her and brought her home with us where she healed and lived to be fifteen years and two weeks. She was a great dog, companion and friend. I don’t own pets and probably never will. Yet this site just gives me warm fuzzies. I can still appreciate what is being done to give animals a chance at a wonderful home and life even though I may not be a direct part of it.
Paulette first posted on my site on December 16th. I have to admit I thought she came on a little strong and I felt intimidated. lol She popped up again later and I have enjoyed the friendship.

Owning pets isn’t for everyone but appreciating kindness in many forms makes for nice bonding.

hmmm…this is ringing bells. I am sure i have read about this sweet baby before–maybe Paulette re-blogged a piece? Not this one, specifically, but I think one closer to uh…well…anyway.
What a beauty–and how blessed for you both that you were connected through this Life. Even now my sweet Baby Huey sits in my “Inbox”–I think I subconsciously i bought it for her, so well does it match her markings–at my side. >^^<
